The honest version

The first batch does not exist yet. This price is what it will be if enough people want one to make building them sensible — that is what the waitlist is for, and it is why there is no Buy button on this page.

What could change

If component costs move before the first batch is ordered, the price could move with them. If that happens, everyone on the waitlist is told the new number before being asked for anything, and nobody is ever charged a price they have not seen.

What will not change

No subscription is ever going to appear. The device works without our servers by design, so charging monthly for them would be charging for something you do not depend on.

Shipping and taxes

Canada. Free shipping in Canada, five to seven business days.
United States. Planned for the first batch; the cost will be shown before you order.
Elsewhere. Not yet. Join the list anyway — it tells us where to look next.
Taxes. Canadian sales taxes are added at checkout based on your province.
